Kevin Prince Boateng Claims Bundesliga Has The World’s Best Players

Ghana and Schalke 04 midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has maintained that the German Bundesliga is the world’s best league, stating that this is the reason why he left AC Milan for Schalke 04.

Boateng who has been rated as the most successful dribbler in Europe’s top five leagues by Football Dynamics statistics insists that the Bundesliga can boast of the best players in the world currently.

The Black Stars enforcer left the Rossoneri in the Italian Serie A last year after signing a 3-year-deal worth 12 million euros with the Royal Blues.

After tasting life in the German top flight with Hertha Berlin, the Italian Serie A with Genoa and AC Milan, and Tottenham Hotspurs and Portsmouth in the English Premier League, the 27-year-old has rated the Bundesliga as the best league in the world.

“I’ve always said I’d like to play in Germany again. It’s got the best league in the world and that’s where the best players belong.” Prince Boateng was quoted by Supersport in an interview.

Most pundits have rated the English Premier League as the best league in the world ahead of the Spanish top flight, though the International Federation of Football History and Statics for 2014 stated that the La Liga was the strongest league in the world in 2013 ahead of English Premier League, the German Bundesliga, the Italian Serie A and the Brazilian top flight.
