Accra Hearts Of Oak Sack Entire Backroom Staff

Ghana Premier League side Accra Hears of Oak has terminated the appointment of its entire backroom staff with immediate effect, Ghanasportsonline.com can exclusively reveal.

Reports were rife in the local media that head coach Mohammed Polo had formally written to the management of the club requesting to name his own men to assist him on the job.

In a statement released by the club on Tuesday, the management of the club stated that the club had mutually agreed with assistant coach Ben Adjei, Reserve team coach Jacob Nettey, Goalkeepers trainer Dan Tettevi and team manager Nat Ofosu to part ways with the club with immediate effect.

The statement also confirmed the appointment of Eben Armah Dida as goalkeepers trainer whiles ex skipper Yaw Amankwah Mireku will act as team manager for the Phobians.

Mr Commey Bortsi has formally been appointed as the head of physiotherapy Department of the club.

The club however emphasized that the changes are in line with the ongoing organisational restructuring exercise within the club.
