Client service access units are to be established in different parts of the country by June 2014 to facilitate land service delivery.
The units will have surveyors and land administrators who will ensure that the public has access to land documented service on time.
The establishment of the client service access units comes in the wake of delays in land title registration in the country.
The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, made this known in Accra yesterday when he inaugurated the reconstituted board of the Greater Accra Lands Commission.
The board is tasked with the responsibility to manage public lands and regulate the disposition of stool and other lands.

In his address, Alhaji Fuseini said land management had been confronted with many problems, including insecurity of land tenure, indeterminate boundaries, chieftaincy disputes and lack of co-operation and coordination among state land sector institutions.
According to him, “These and other problems manifest themselves in different forms and thereby make dealing in land in the country very unsafe.”
Vacant Lands in Greater Accra The minister advised landowners to desist from the practice of giving investors large tracts of land for which the investors might not have immediate use.
He also advised the commission to exercise diligence in issuing land documents in relation to transactions and educate customary landowners and the public.
Alhaji Fuseini further advised the board members to take keen interest in the work given them for the benefit of the country.
Responding to the call, Nii Okaidja Adamafio gave an assurance that the board would work to ensure that the challenges confronting the land sector were resolved.
