Ebusua Dwarfs Will Avoid Relegation – Rashid Sumaila

The Ghana defender is upbeat about the chances of his former side in their tight relegation fight.

Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Rashid Sumaila says he is confident his former side, Ebusua Dwarfs will stay in the FCP Premier League.

Dwarfs lie at the bottom of the table after playing 19 matches in the Ghanaian topflight.

Not even the collection of the maximum points in their two outstanding matches can put them in a safe position.

But Sumaila believes his former team can turn things around in the remaining eleven matches.

“I was sad they got kicked out of the Caf Confederation Cup, but I think they have what it takes to stay in the league.

“I am very confident about the chances of Dwarfs and I know they are going to remain in the elite division,” Sumaila told Accra based, Asempa FM.

Now under the tutelage of J.E. Sarpong after the departure of Professor J.K. Mintah, Dwarfs will take on Wa All Stars on Wednesday in an outstanding week 20 fixture.
