Kumasi will develop despite setbacks – Kumasi Mayor

The Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu has assured residents of Kumasi of massive infrastructural development despite major setbacks.

Speaking to Citi News after touring some project sites in the metropolis, Mr. Bonsu said the assembly is on course to deliver what residents desire.

According to him, several projects being undertaken in Kumasi proves that government is committed to developing Ghana.

“The maternity wards and other wards under construction is all under the Urban Development Grant (UDG) project and also shows and tells the public that government is very serious in undertaking developmental projects in the city.”

Mr. Bonsu also expressed his delight about the projects that were on course in the city, saying “I am very happy to see that all these projects are on course and some are completed. The most important one is our sanitary court which is ready.”

“I have given an order that within one month, revenue should be used and utilized so that more revenue can be generated,” he added.
