‘Tweaa DCE’ In Trouble Again…As He Terms ‘Tweaa’ Popularity As NDC Achievement

He was forgiven for rudely storming out of a public event after he got heckled with a local swear word, but it appears Gabriel Barimah, now popularly known as the ‘Tweaa’ District Chief Executive, could take the fall for his infamy.

The Ahafo Ano South DCE rode on the crest of wave of the local swear word ‘tweaa’ to infamy but, ironically, the same wave ride now risks crashing him to smithereens.

The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Akwasi Oppong-Fosu has issued a statement saying the Government intends reviewing its earlier forgiving posture.

The Government’s u-turn follows an interview by Mr Barimah in which he reveled in his infamy and called it an “achievement”.

He told Joy News his popularity has shot through the roof ever since the ‘tweaa’ debacle.

The Ministry of Local Government said in the statement that Mr Barimah’s latest comments betray his remorselessness.
