Peacefmonline.com can reliably confirm that Hon Gabriel Barimah, the Ahafo Ano South District Chief Executive, who gained notoriety in recent times for his infamous ‘Tweaa’ comment and angry response to heckling at a public function, has been fired.

REMOVAL OF HON. GABRIEL BARIMA AS DCE FOR AHAFO ANO SOUTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY
The President, exercising the powers conferred on him by the Section 20(4) of the Local Government Act, Act 462, 1993 has dismissed Hon. Gabriel Barima as the District Chief Executive of Ahafo Ano South District Assembly with immediate effect.
The Ashanti Regional Minister has been directed to act until a substantive Chief Executive is appointed.
