The death of Mohammed D. Tackie, father of Ghanaian sports journalist Fiifi Tackie has been announced.
Mohammed Tackie died on Sunday morning aged 83 following a brief illness.
He will be buried on Sunday afternoon according Islamic custom.
Prayers will be offered for the deceased at the Achimota Central Mosque at 13:00 GMT followed by the burial.
Mohammed Tackie’s son, Fiifi Tackie is one of the seasoned sports journalists in Ghana and has a close working relationship with GHANAsoccernet.com as the spokesperson of Rahim, Andre and Jordan Ayew.
