A renowned Naturaphatic Physician in Kumasi, Dr. M.Y.Caesar, has taken a swipe at the media for failing to investigate and come out with the truth in connection with the report of death of the Ashanti King, His Royal Majesty,Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, whiles he was in South Africa.
“If there is information, credit is given to the media, and if it is in the negative the same media is to be blame,”Caesar said.
Speaking to a cross section of the media in Kumasi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of M.Y.Caesar Company Limited, lamented that all the good things the King is doing, failed to reach the people through the media.
He said, while individuals, who carried out this rumor,” we are of the view that rumor is heavier than the media.”
A renowned Naturaphatic Physician said, the King of Ashanti, is an International figure so his media relations should carry him far.
The CEO of M.Y Caesar Company Limited, Home of High Quality Natural Food Supplement Products in the Country, said few days to the return of the Ashanti King, GTV showed the King at the Stadium in South Africa, adding ” this alone has countered the rumor, but it was too late.”
“The King is a regular sportsman and was even at the Golf Park in South Africa, when he heard the rumor, people should think of their own health,” He added.
Dr. Caesar, who was at the Kumasi Airport to welcome the Ashanti King, said the weeping of the King was not about himself, but the media and his people.
He, therefore, called on the media to always establish facts and understand news, rather than dealing in trivial issues.
He used the occasion to remind the public that Otumfuor’s Annual Teachers Award is on the way, which M.Y. Caesar Company is sponsoring.
Dr. Caesar prayed for good health, wisdom, God’s continual protection and long life for the King saying “Ghanaians and for that matter, Africans still have a lot to profit from the Ashanti King”
