The young winger is not happy about the winless streaks being recorded in recent times and has called on his team-mates to step up their game.
Ghana international Christian Atsu has urged Vitesse Arnhem to wake up from their recent slumber in the Eredivisie.
The Dutch top flight side has gone four games without a win and that is becoming a worry for the Ghanaian winger.
“We must stand up and finish the chances we create,” Atsu said at the Gelredome. “We have learned our lesson.”
The former Porto player also spoke about his new friend Burkinabe Bertrand Traore, who is on loan at the club from Chelsea.
“We are very close and attract each other. We ride together to training. We are like brothers.”
The Ghanaian has been very instrumental for the Dutch side who are bent on winning the Eredivisie trophy this season.
