NLA Rewards Loyal Retailers

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has rewarded six retailers for their commitment to hardwork and contribution to the achievement of its target for the last financial year, as well as their inputs towards the sustenance of the Authority’s mandate over the years.

Under the Afehyia Pa Promotion which ended a week ago, the winners received cars as their prizes.

They are Mr. Gabriel Amponsah Doodo, Accra, Austin Wuver, Accra, Yakubu Braimah, Wa, P.B.K. Assim of Panbros Prestige Ltd, Kumasi, and Nii Bonaparte of Super AZ, Kumasi, who won two cars.

Addressing the gathering, Brigadier-General Martin Ahiaglo, Acting Director-General of NLA said that the rationale for organizing the Afehyia Pa Promotion was among others, boost the morale of retailers whose sacrifices had put NLA on a higher pedestal regarding national development, and prompt payment of huge sums into the consolidated Fund.

Most of the retailers, according to the Director-General, had earned various life enriching items ranging from cars, gas cookers, refrigerators, LED Television sets to cash, which had impacted positively on their lives.

“We believe in our people and cherish the values, dedication, hardwork and devotion all of which are ingredients that are necessary for fruitful yield in any meaningful partnership,” he said.

Brigadier-General Ahiaglo commended the staff of NLA, media and the cherished customers for their meaningful contribution and support.
