“My Real Name is Augustina-Ikwo Peter Umah but my stage name is Tina Umah”
WE HEARD YOU ARE WORKING ON AN ALBUM, WHEN ARE YOU RELEASING IT?
“Well, am currently working on an album that will be released later this year. But I will be releasing two singles very soon. I can assure my fans that they will find the new work more interesting than my previous single”
HOW MANY MUSICIANS ARE YOU COLLABORATING WITH ON THIS ALBUM?
“At the moment, am working on a collabo with Chidinma &Presh and probably we will have about five or more collabo’s on the album”
WHAT’S THE TITLE OF THE TWO SINGLES YOU ARE ABOUT TO RELEASE?
“Single Gals & Nigerian People”
WHY “SINGLE GALS”?
“We get inspiration to write songs everyday by what we see and what we experience; Single Gals is a message to all the girls out there that even if your lover hurts you, all you need to do is pick up the pieces of your heart and move on”
TELL US ABOUT YOUR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?
“School is fine”
WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING IN SCHOOL?
“Am a Thespian, am studying Theatre Arts”
HOW OLD ARE YOU?
“Am 20 years old”
YOU DON’T LOOK 20, HOW COME?
“Yeah that’s just my nature. When I was 13, I looked 15. When I was 16 I looked 18. Now am 20 I look 22.”
HOW DO YOU COPE WITH THE CELEBRITIY LIFE IN SCHOOL?
“Everything is cool; I get lots of goodwill messages from my fans in school and on social media or though some guys try to get too close but by God’s grace I don’t fall for their desperation.
ARE YOU SINGLE?
“Yeah…. Of course am single”
AS A CELEBRITY WOULD YOU DATE ANOTHER CELEBRITY?
“Hmm…. well, I think so. Or though it depends on the personality involved”
WHICH NIGERIAN CELEBRITY WOULD YOU GO FOR?
“hmm, well, I would go for Alex Ekubo & Davido”

“Alex Ekubo”
YOU ARE 20 AND DAVIDO IS 21, DON’T YOU THINK DAVIDO WOULD BE A BETTER MATCH?
“Davido is cool, but Alex is cute, he’s so down to earth, sexy, good looking and he’s one in a million. To be truthful, am dying to suck his lips.”
WOW, SO APART FROM YOUR ALBUM, WHAT ELSE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR FANS THIS YEAR?
“Am working on an African Tour tagged SINGLE GALS and hopefully by the end of the year I will embark on a UK tour.”
ASIDE FROM MUSIC WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU DO?
“I am actually planning of going into the movie industry where I can produce my own movies and act them as-well.”
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES YOU FACE AS A GIRL CHILD IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
“As a girl child, it’s hard to mix up with men in the music industry especially producers and promoters. You know men always leave business for pleasure”
WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE TO THE YOUNG GIRLS OUT THERE WHO WANT TO JOIN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?
“I advice them to be focused, they should not give in when they face challenges because challenges will surely come. Play your part and God will take the lead role
