Newly-appointed Eastern regional Communications Director, Mr. David Prah, has pledged to strengthen the regional communications team in order to help win back power for the party in the 2016 general elections.

According to him, even though his predecessors have done their best he thinks more needs to be done to make sure it is well-equipped in order to help win back power. Mr. Prah made these comments in Koforidua at a ceremony to usher he and other five executives into office.

He said the party needs competent communicators who can explain to Ghanaians the policies of the party and also be able to criticise the government on bad policies and corruption.

He therefore stated that his outfit will set up a committee to seek sponsorship to be able to assist communicators in whatever assignment they are asked to do whiles others will be the mouthpiece of the party on the radio, television, newspapers and other platforms.

Mr. Prah, who is also lecturer at Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong emphasised that the good work of his team will surely bring victory to the party.

He, however, commended journalists in the region for their collaboration with the party and pledged to even strengthen the relationship at all times without any discrimination.

He was grateful to his predecessor Mr. Owusu Baafi and the regional executives for his appointment and assured them to work hard for the party.
