The Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to Queen Elizabeth II, has signed a book of condolence opened in memory of former BBC TV presenter, Komla Afeke Dumor.

Information gathered by myjoyonline.com indicates that Prince Charles visited the British Broadcasting Corporation, and in an unplanned fashion, moved to where the condolence book was placed and signed it.

“The Prince of Wales made time for [the signing] in his already overrunning schedule,” myjoyonline.com was told by a source, who witnessed the moment.

Komla Dumor, who was with the BBC World Service and Focus on Africa, died of cardiac arrest on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at age 41.
