Isaac Amoako’s apartment gutted by fire

Isaac Amoako, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Local Black Stars goalkeeper has lost all his belongings to fire in his two bed room apartment, near the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.

The player arrived in Kumasi today and went to visit his manager but it was from there that he had a call from a neighbor that his room is set ablaze with fire.

“I arrived at Anloga Junction, before boarding a taxi to my apartment near Baba Yara Sports Stadium. When I got home no one was there, so I left my luggage which has everything I brought from South Africa-Money, clothes and other items, in the room.

“I then went to see my manager to greet him and bring my car home, because I always leave my vehicle with my manager whenever I travel.

“But it was from there that a call came that my room was burning and when I arrived everything was burnt, not even a needle is left for me, Amoako told Allsports.com.gh.

During the time of the fire outbreak, no one was in Amoako’s room to intervene.

“I live with my brother, but some few days before my coming to Kumasi I sent him to my mum to give her some item, so as I talk he is still at Nkuransa, he said

Although the Ghana Fire service drove to the place, it was too late for them to intervene.

He was one of the three goalkeepers selected for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa and he revealed to Allsports.com.gh that the entire winning bonuses he collected from the Stars CHAN campaign are also burnt.
