The fresh speculation over Ghana’s provisional 30-man has surfaced with a Ghanaian newspaper claiming that coach Kwesi Appiah has included Parma rising star Afriyie Acquah and experienced midfielder Anthony Annan in the squad.

This is about the tenth list to be speculated by the media as the final squad to be released on Monday by the coach and despite strong denials by the Ghana FA the local media have continued unabated with speculation.

With five days left for the Ghanaian trainer to announce his initial squad, suspense has been boiling up in the media circles with daily reports on which players have been included or pencilled down.

The Ghana FA rubbished a publication by the Ghana News Agency last month claiming that they had the leak thus published the supposed 30-man provisional list http://www.ghanasoccernet.com/2014-world-cup-ghana-provisional-squad-leaked-schlupp-frimpong-named-vorsah-annan-return/ .

Now another batch of 30-players have surfaced in the local media with the Ghana Sports newspaper claiming that the trainer has finally bowed down to pressure to include Afriyie Acquah in his squad.

The hype surrounding the Parma midfielder has been immense in the local media and he is in line to stage a return to the team following his good showing in the Italian top-flight.

There is also a place for Juventus youngster Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, who has impressed during his loan spell at Spanish side Elche.

The next couple of days could prove interesting for these players as campaigns from journalists and publicists  have intensified, days leading to the grand-announcement.

So far all the ten speculated lists have been different with the GFA consistently rubbishing the reports only asking the journalist to be patient and wait for the coach’s release of his squad.
