He said most of his church members who have seen him minister and also watched Kirk Franklin’s videos are excited about the double package of himself and Kirk in the same concert so they are coming in their numbers.

The Ghana’s energetic and enterprising gospel musician whose music and stagecraft have won him much recognition in Ghana and beyond said Kirk Franklin is among the gospel music superstars he looks up to.

Cwesi Oteng told Adom News “we’ve watched the videos of Kirk Franklin and learnt a lot from him – without Kirk Franklin I don’t think we would have the kind of energy and style of gospel music we have today – he started doing something that was new and we all took a cue.”

“Today I get people telling me I have also started something and it’s because I learnt a lot from Kirk and I was encouraged by some of his bold steps so basically Kirk is not a small artist – he is a superstar and to be on the same stage with him is a exciting for me,” Cwesi said.

He promised his fans that they can expect the best from him in terms of ministration and performance excellence.

Meanwhile, award-winning Gospel Music songstress Ohemaa Mercy has also expressed her excitement about participating in the Adom Praiz concert and has urged Ghanaians and her fans to come in their numbers.

Ohemaa Mercy is urging Ghanaians to come with their burdens and Christ would touch them through the songs from the various artistes.
