Midfielder Sulley Muntari has been excluded from AC Milan’s 23-man squad for the TIM Cup on Tuesday.

The Ghana international’s fitness was in doubt after he conducted only a part of last Thursday’s full training regime before going back in the gym.

Muntari was busy during the summer holidays as he played in Ghana’s double 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.

But compatriots Kevin-Prince Boateng and youngster Kingsley Boateng have been named in the roster by head coach Max Allegri who has a mix of youth and experience for the friendly competition.

AC Milan will play Juventus and newly-promoted Serie A side Sassuolo.

Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel; Antonini, Bonera, Constant, Mexes, Zaccardo, Zapata; Kevin-Prince Boateng, Cristante, Emanuelson.

De Jong, Nocerino, Poli, Piccinocchi, Strasser, Traoré; Niang, Oduamadi, Petagna, Kingsley Boateng, Robinho.
