Ghana (2009) champions face the South Americans in Istanbul in a crucial clash for a semi-final berth.
Mario Alfredo Salas’ boys arrived in Istanbul from Bursa after their victory over Croatia while Ghana managed a shocking win over bookmakers favourite Portugal to progress.
The South Americans have already downed an African side at the competition after beating North Africans Egypt in their Group E opener.
Midfielder Nicolas Maturana, who plays for Universidad Chile has chosen to shower praises on Ghana’s qualities ahead of the game.
“They are a team with an aggressive game like all African sides and are a strong opposition like Croatia. We have to approach the game in a different way,” the 19-year-old said after arriving in Istanbul.
Chile’s best record in the tournament’s history remains a third-place finish at the 2007 edition held in Canada.
