Jesse Tay donates 10, 000GHC to Tema General Hospital children ward

Jesse Tay who recently released his ten track album titled, “Nyame Ni Hene” has donated 10, 000GHC to Tema General Hospital children ward.

In a statement to Ghana Music.com, Jesse, Youth president of Bible Believers Fellowship said, “This was my way of giving back to the society, in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the the Tema General Hospital especially the children ward in its continued modernization program. I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Tema. This was all done to save lives or at least extend them”.

The Tema General Hospital children’s ward has received a boost in its infrastructure position following the refurbishment of its premises by Jesse Tay.

The GH¢10,000 renovation works, included electrical re-wiring of the children’s ward, renovation of the entrance to the ward, installation of electric fans, air-conditioning and the construction of a fence round the ward.

Jesse Tay and a few youth members from Bible Believers Fellowship again donated five hospital beds, 50 mosquito nets and bales of window curtains to the ward, all as part of its an outreach project he is about to begin.

Dr Poku-Oware, the Pediatrician and Head of the Children’s Ward, expressed gratitude to Jesse for the kind gesture and noted his tremendous effort which he extended to ailing children.

Head Pastor of BBF of Bible Believers Fellowship; Pastor John B. Tay also said the donation is Jesse’s outreach programme to reach out to the needy in society and inculcate in the children the need to share with others.

He said apart from preaching the word, the church must also attend to the physical needs of the people to fulfill the gospel and expressed the hope that the items would benefit the patients of the hospital.

Aside making the donation, Jesse and his youth team also cleaned the environs of the Tema General Hospital and promised to be doing it every week.

Noble Nketia and Gifty Osei later joined the occasion to make the special presentation to Dr Poku-Oware, the Pediatrician and Head of the Children’s Ward.

The IT expert and degree holder in nutrition is married to Marcella Pogdan Ambenne who doubles as the Coordinater at the Bible Believers Fellowship.
