GOSPEL MuSICIAN Joe Mettle is gearing up for Ghana’s first major live album recording for his latest work ‘Sound of Praise’ on Sunday, June 23, at the Royal House Chapel in Accra at 4:30pm.

Renowned gospel music stars including Danny Nettey, Cwesi Oteng, and Francis Amo will perform alongside Joe Mettle.

The live album recording concert powered by Episode 7 Events entails a live recording of songs and videos for an album at a venue in front of a live audience.

A source close to Joe Mettle said, “We are capturing the live atmosphere instead of going to the studio and recording it,” he noted and added that he will be involving a live audience in the recording.

The live recording forms part of his annual Praiz Reloaded concert and Joe Mettle is hoping to fully record the 12-track album and its video at the event in about two hours.

He said patrons should expect “an experience of a lifetime and will never leave the venue the same”. Joe has been doing gospel music commercially for about 10 years now. He started his career with award-winning music group Soul Winners. ‘Sound of Praise’ is his second album, his first was titled, ‘The Gratitude’.
