Ghanaian hiplife stars who are billed to perform at a concert dubbed ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ on Saturday, June 29, have promised to thrill business tycoons, music fans, as well as people from all walks of life, with most of their hit songs.

Stars like R2Bees, E.L, Edem and a few others whose live band musical performances have won the hearts of many music fans in Ghana, have promised  to do something extraordinary to satisfy Ghanaian music fans who would be at the Accra International Conference Centre to watch them live on stage.

Unlike previous ones, the event is aimed at taking African music to another level. The event promises to shake the foundation of the Conference Centre with live performances from seasoned music stars from Ghana and Nigeria.

The show is expected to transcend age barriers by drawing in fans of all ages since all the artistes on the bill have a reputation for their ability to keep music fans on their feet for hours on end.

Known as the music and dance party that cannot be compared to any other musical event in Ghana today, ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ will, this time around, feature Nigeria enterprising hip-hop stars such Wizkid, Timaya, Burna Boy and other seasoned stars whose music has gone down well with fans across the African continent.

Performing alongside Wizkid will be R2Bees, some of Ghana’s best artistes – Raquel, Okyeame Kwame, Edem, E.L, Dr Slim, Double and a host of others.

These are talented artistes who do justice to every opportunity given them. They have never left their audience disappointed, but rather, have them begging for a double doze.

Last year’s edition of ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ was so successful that it had to return this year, and the organizers intend to make it even better.

The quality of music made by Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes can easily be compared with any other and it has kept audiences all over the world dancing throughout the year.

‘Ghana Meets Naija’ is therefore to celebrate these artistes and to give music fans a party like no other this republic day celebration.

“For us, the night with the stars is the measure of musical trends of the coming year, amplifying the biggest stars to showcase and celebrate their talent,” said Bola Ray, chief executive officer of Empire Entertainment, organizers of the event.

Empire Entertainment promises to not only light up the night with special performances, but also make the night sparkle with the hottest stars in Ghana and Nigeria, as has been the tradition.
