Ghana’s award winning disc jockey, DJ Mensa, aka The Untouchable, has been nominated for the 2nd Annual African Awards, USA as a contender for the Best DJ of the year.
The event is organised to showcase and recognize the enormous talents of people of African descent who have made positive and selfless contributions to the betterment of Africans in the homeland as well as in the Diaspora.
The 2nd Annual African Awards will be held at the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studio C on August 31, 2013, at 7:00pm.
DJ Mensa, who has been nominated for the Artiste DJ of the Year at the African Global DJ Awards coming up in July in Nigerian, said “this is recognition of hard work paying off”.
DJ Mensa would be vying for the Best DJ of the Year spot with DJ Akuaa – Ghana, DJ Sam I Am- Sierra Leone, DJ Folly, Focus – Kenya, DJ Afoo – Nigeria, DJ Legin – Montserrat.

Sarkodie’s official disc jockey is scheduled to wow some clubs this summer while doing a few stops with the Rapperholic man.
Sources in London said the Disc Jockey is expected to make some stops at the party in the park on August 3, the Ghana Music Awards in London on August 9 and Ohio on August 20.
