The First Ever “Business of Fashion Conference” On July 5

Being a creative person and know how to design good clothes is one good quality in fashion business and possessing an entrepreneur skills to make a living out of it is another thing.

What are the key requirements for success as fashion entrepreneur? Why do some start-ups prosper while others fail? How much of it is a result of planning and skill? This and many more questions to answer as FashionManiaGh presents THE BUSINESS OF FASHION CONFERENCE which will be held on the 5th of July, 2013 at the Airport View Hotel, by 7pm.

The business of fashion conference is aimed at bringing the stakeholders in the fashion industry in Ghana together to discuss and deliberate on how to build a better brand, commercialize their creative works and other business related issues in the fashion industry.

The purpose of this platform is to create an interactive and networking opportunity for textile manufacturer, creative designer, fashion blogger, photographer, event organizer, beauty product manufacturer and retailer, models, make-up artist, fashion PR and other fashion related products. They will all come together under one roof to discuss business of fashion.

Discussion at the conference will include but not limited to: Overview of Ghana fashion industry, Ethical issue of the business, How creativity can be commercialize and protected, How to build and sustain a brand, Working with blogger and PR, How to expand and grow business beyond boarder, How to build brand relationship, How blogger can influence sustainability in the fashion industry, Important of digital public relations to business development.

The entry to the event is free but strictly by invitation. The guest speakers for the conference are Mr. Francis Kwasi Amenakpor, head of fashion design and textiles department Accra polytechnic and Dr Richard Boateng, technology researcher and lecturer university of Ghana.
