Ghana’s U20 will play Kosovo on Wednesday night in their first pre-FIFA World Youth Championship friendly in Switzerland.
The match forms part of a four-nation tournament which includes Brazil and Egypt.
Sellas Tetteh and 23 players have been preparing in Novara, Italy since last Thursday for the mini-tournament.
The team has been joined by promising Inter Milan midfielder Alfred Duncan who spent the second half of the season on loan at Livorno.
Duncan posted on his official Twitter account on Wednesday morning: Gudmorning folks..we are starting a 4 team mini tournament in Switzerland tonight. Hoping for the best and have a wonderful day u all#1love.”
Ghana will play France on 21 June in Istanbul before facing Spain and USA in Group A at the tournament which will be held in Turkey.
