Alfred Duncan will join his Ghana U20 team-mates late due to Livorno Serie A promotion quest
Midfielder Alfred Duncan will arrive late in to join his Ghana U20 team-mates as he is expected to play part of Livorno’s promotion play-offs series.
The 20-year-old Inter Milan youngster is among players named by Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh to prepare for the FIFA U20 World Cup next month in Turkey.
But the powerful midfielder will arrive late to join his team-mates as he is expected to play for Livorno in their Serie A promotion campaign.
First, he will be involved in Wednesday’s first-leg of the play-offs against Brescia and the second-leg next Sunday.
If Livorno overcome Brescia, Duncan will be involved again in the final play-off against the winners of Empoli and Novara.
He might have to join the team in Switzerland in their European tour.
