Derek Boateng has joined Fulham on a two-year deal

Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng has expressed profound delight at finally completing his long-awaited move to English Premier League club; Fulham FC.
The 30-year-old has sealed a two-year move to Craven Cottage following years of hurt.
The well-travelled Ghanaian has had several attempts to move to the Premier League foiled by protracted disputes.
His ‘club’ FC Dnipro failed to reach a deal with Fulham in January to see another prospective move fall through at the last minute.
But with Boateng claiming free agency with a case against the Ukrainian club at FIFA, the ex Getafe man has now sealed his long awaited move to the Premier League.
And the Ghana international couldn’t hide his profound joy as Fulham’s first summer signing even before the transfer window officially opens.
“I am finally happy,” Boateng Tweeted with a picture of him holding a Fulham jersey just like an official out-dooring.
“I have signed a two-year deal with Fulham FC! I am happy to see this deal confirmed.
“Thank God, my family and everyone who support me.”
Boateng can now get on with his career which came to a stand-still for almost a year without playing in competitive games after falling out with Dnipro manager Juande Ramos.
His relative inactivity has cost him a place in the Black Stars team but could be gradually making a return with his move to Fulham if he manages to win a first team place and impresses coach Akwasi Appiah.
