Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman has hinted he could leave Greuther Furth in the summer.

The 18-year-old was an integral member of the Cloverleaves team that got relegated from the German top flight at the end of the campaign.

The left-back has emerged one of the most sought after players from the relegated side following his impressive first season in the Bundesliga.

This coupled with every player’s desire to remain in the top flight of a top European league makes Rahman’s departure from Furth a likely prospect.

The yet-to-be-capped Ghana international has now given perhaps the greatest indication his exit from Greuther Furth is in the making despite conceding the final decision to move on lies with his club.

“I don’t know my future for now so anything can happen. But I still have a four-year contract with Furth,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“In football when you get a better offer from another club which you will want to have and both teams also agree then you have to obey your desire.”

Rahman joined Greuther Furth at the beginning of the German season from second tier Ghanaian club Dreams FC after excelling on loan with giants Asante Kotoko.

He played every game for Furth in the second half of the season after an early season struggle where he made just three first team appearances.
