Chelsea U20 defender Daniel Pappoe will in the Ghana U20 World Cup squad
Chelsea U20 captain Daniel Pappoe will be included in the Black Satellites squad for the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup, Ghanasoccernet.com has learnt.
The 19-year-old was excluded from an initial 41-man squad named by Sellas Tetteh last month.
But after deep considerations, Tetteh has decided to include the Chelsea reserves stalwark defender in his final list for the tournament which comes off next month in Turkey.
Pappoe was Chelsea U20?s lead man as they claim back-to-back FA Youth Cup wins after defeating Liverpool 2-1 to clinch a 4-1 Semi-Final aggregate victory and set up a Final meeting with Norwich City.
He also helped Chelsea to the final of the NextGen Series.
The powerful center-back was born in Lapaz, a suburb of Accra but grew up in London.
