Yvonne Nelson is a Ghanaian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghana actress, model, film producer and entrepreneur. Yvonne, a former Miss Ghana contestant, shot to fame after a big-screen role in Princess Tyra and Playboy . She quickly became a household name on the African continent.
Yvonne is an award-winning actress and has proved her versatility as an actress by starring in a number of Ghanaian and Nigerian movies, including ‘Prince’s Bride’, ‘Girls Connection’, ‘Playboy’, and ‘Golden Adventure’.
She produced the current record breaking African movie, ‘Single & Married’ and also has a number of businesses in Accra including two fashion shops named YN Closet Fashion Shops’.
Yvonne launched YN Hairline which introduced lace wigs and human hair collections into Ghana’s market. At the time, the wigs were very new in Ghana.
As part of her efforts to give back to society, she launched the Yvonne Nelson Glaucoma Foundation in 2010 to educate the public on the harmful effects of the eye ailment.
