Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani
Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani insists he is not content with his team’s conversion rate despite the 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea.
The champions have been extremely wasteful this season – creating all the best chances in games they thoroughly dominate but luck the cutting edge upfront.
It was this concern that led the Porcupine Warriors into signing striker Abdul Aziz Yusif from strugglers Real Tamale United.
Coach Dramani has however had no joy since and admits his side still have a lot of work to do to improve in the final third.
“Several times we have created a lot of goalscoring opportunities but we miss them,” he said after Wednesday’s win over Chelsea.
“We however managed to get two goals today which was good but we can always do better.”
Kotoko have scored 25 goals in 19 games played this season in the Ghanaian top flight – translating into a 1.3 conversion rate per game.
