Prudential Bank supports Asawase police
Kumasi, March 21, GNA – Prudential Bank on Thursday donated three computers and accessories worth GH¢2, 400.00 in support of the Asawase District Police in Kumasi.
This was in response to an appeal made to it.
Mr Martin Bannerman, Ashanti Regional Manager of the Bank, handing these over at a ceremony, said the bank recognized the important role the police played to protect life and property.
As a financial institution, they found it pertinent to support it to effectively and efficiently operate.
Mr Bannerman said he was confident the computers would help improve the efficiency of the police in its crime combat in Kumasi.
Superintendent Anthony Appiah, Asawase District Police Commander, thanked the bank for the assistance and said it would help speed up clerical work and improve service delivery.
He appealed to other organizations and institutions to assist them by way of accommodation, vehicles and logistics.
