Job Title: IT Technician
Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all workstations are running smoothly without problems.
- Ensuring that Network resources are entirely accessible by workstations and data and shared resources are secured and accessible.
- Resolving network problems and system resources.
- Working on large server base networks and handling on site and off site issues.
- Installing PC’s, testing and running system applications and proprietary softwares on networks.
- Checking performance issues with PC’s and determining if necessary the need for memory upgrade and hard drive errors.
- Training users of any new software installed and analyzing network performance issues and breakdowns of systems and peripheral equipment with other members of the I.T Team.
- Performing regular system maintenance and backup data where necessary.
- Putting up actions required for network disasters and data recovery plans.
- Assisting in network security including smoothwall advance content filtering and firewall with antivirus softwares in place.
- Administering users on networks and setup user account restrictions.
- Monitoring system performance and creating system files.
- Updating systems with new release of O.S. and hardwares.
- Multitasking both at site and offsite.
- Training colleagues on softwares and handover projects required by clients with ease
Qualification and Requirements
- Comptia N+ and A+ certification.
- M.C.S.E level is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in electrical is also an added advantage.
- Excellent skills in setting up and trouble shooting in the following areas:
- Server based networks
- Cisco Networking and Advance network setups
- Core and basic network trouble shooting
- PC trouble shooting and work station setups
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant post qualification experience in hardware, software and networking in a corporate environment.
- Possession of a high sense of integrity.
- Results driven and deadline conscious.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a strong sense of purpose and responsibility.
- Excellent Team Playing skills.
