Daniel Addo wants to become a consultant to Great Olympics

Ex-Ghana international Daniel ‘Darling Boy’ Addo is eyeing a managerial role at Great Olympics.

The 36-year-old holds a degree in football management and wants to use his experience to help boyhood club Great Olympics.

“I studied sports management. I can work as a sports management and do other other stuff,” Addo told Radio XYZ

“I will come back to football because they need our contribution.

“I want to do administration. I want to be like a consultant to the teams or consultant to the national team so we can help the guys to know what it takes to be a strong professional player.

“It’s not only a coach who can motivate a player but a team manager.

“You know in Europe, sometimes a team manager is more important than even a coach.

“I took that path. I don’t want to be a coach. I prefer to go back to my former team Accra Great Olympics.

The former Bayern Leverkusen player was a key member of Ghana’s Under-17 side that won the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 1991.
