CWG GHANA acquires ISO certification
Accra, March 7, GNA – Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) Ghana Limited, a member of the Pan African Information and Communication Technology Company, has been accredited by the Ghana Standards Authority Management System Certification Scheme (GSA-MSCS).
This achievement demonstrates that quality management system of CWG Ghana had been approved by the Ghana Standards Authority Management System Certification Scheme to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Standard
This was contained in a statement issued to the Ghana News Agency by Management of CWG Ghana on Wednesday in Accra.
According to the Approval Committee of GSA-MSCS, the quality management system was applicable to provision of ICT products and services including infrastructure, communication solutions, software solutions and training (NACE CODE: 72) required to achieve and maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
To this end, the statement noted that CWG Ghana had passed through the rigorous policy and requirements of GSA-MSCS and had been certified to continue to enable businesses in the region.
Mrs Patricia Kevwe Odubote, Head, Quality Assurance and Metrics of CWG explained that CWG’s vision is to be the best IT Utility enabler in Africa by 2015 deploying world class ICT solutions, enabling businesses and driven by innovative people and process.
She said the company had consistently managed her Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Standard through a continual improvement process.
‘No doubt, Computer Warehouse Group has successfully accomplished her Quality Policy by incorporating measurable objectives that have helped us to achieve the quality policy: Computer Warehouse Group shall deliver ICT Solutions that will add value to our customer’s operation, meet and exceed our customer’s expectation and we shall deliver them right first time and all the time’, she said.
According to Patricia, quality to CWG meant ‘the ability to meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining a cost competitive market position’.
Receiving the certificate, Mr Olufemi Adeitan, Acting Country Manager, expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to enabling businesses in Ghana and contributing their quota in terms of development of the local understanding and application of ICT.
CWG comprised of three divisions, each with expertise in one of the three ICT disciplines which are hardware, software and communications, plus an ICT training and certification centre.
It currently has virtual operations in 17 African countries, with physical presence in Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Cameroon.
