Ayew-Mania Escalates As Abedi Pele Firmly Backs Kids

Ghana’s soccer maestro Abedi Pele has backed the decision of his sons (Andre & Jordan) Ayew to temporarily retire from the Black Stars saying he is not bothered about the decision taken by his sons.

Speaking on an Accra based television network, Multi TV the three times African Best Player said, “They are grown up children, 21-23 and so this is an opportunity for them to make their own decisions.

The father Ayew however feels Coach Kwasi Appiah whom he played with in their hay days did not manage issues well. “They are all my friends. Kwasi Appiah is my friend. I played with him. But if a friend disappoints you, what do you do?,”. Pele questioned.

The two (Abedi Pele and Kwesi Appiah) had their on issues during their playing days and some soccer pundicts thinks it is that which is eating into the moral fibre of the coach and the kids.

The quiet unassuming Kwasi Appiah is yet to pass a comment on Abedi Pele’s latest outburst.
