3 die in Kwara auto crash

Tragedy struck in Oloru, on the outskirts of  Kwara State capital, on Friday, when three passengers died in an auto crash while nine others sustained severe injuries.

Sunday Vanguard checks revealed that the incident involved a  car and a petrol tanker. The passengers in the car were said to be heading for Minna. Eye witness account revealed that in an attempt to avoid the pot holes on the road, the two vehicles had a fatal head on collision which caused the tanker to fell and the petrol spilled on the road.

The tanker caught fire instantly which caused the death of three of the six passengers of the car.

The Head of Operations of the Kwara State Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Mr. Adekanye Olufemi, confirmed the accident.
