Nike suspends contract with Oscar Pistorius

LONDON (AFP) – US sportswear giant Nike has suspended its contract with South African Paralympics star Oscar Pistorius, the company’s UK and Ireland spokesman said Thursday.
“Nike has suspended its contract with Oscar Pistorius,” the spokesman told AFP.
“We believe Oscar Pistorius should be afforded due process and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
