Neymar Goes To Europe
While Europe anxiously awaits the arrival of Neymar to ply his trade in one of the continent’s elite football leagues, the Brazil wonderkid will make a brief European appearance tonight, in the highly anticipated friendly between England and Brazil.
The match, part of the England Football Association’s (FA) 150th birthday celebrations, is exclusively live on SuperSport 3HD and SS3 from (8.25pm CAT).
On a night of frenzied international football action, which includes Holland versus Italy, Spain versus Uruguay and France against Germany, Neymar’s visit to Wembley and his partnership with childhood idol, Ronaldinho, will certainly be the highlight of the night.
Ronaldinho has been recalled to the national side after a 12-month hiatus.
Neymar, the Santos forward is football’s hottest property, sought after by almost every club across Europe.
While he continually insists that he will join a European club only after the 2014 Fifa World Cup, Europe’s wait for him could be shorter than originally anticipated.
Media reports in Spain suggest that he has signed for Barcelona and will join up with Lionel Messi, who’s also in action on Wednesday night, for Argentina against Sweden, in the new season.
