Crunchsports : Â Â Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Robin van Persie will be fit to face Real Madrid after the striker picked up an injury in the 2-0 win at QPR on Saturday.
Van Persie hurt his hip after colliding with a camera in the build-up to United’s first goal and he was replaced by Danny Welbeck shortly before half-time.
United will assess the Dutchman in the next few days, but Sir Alex expects to have his top goalscorer available for the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday, March 5th.
