Ghanaian Striker Elvis Manu Wins Appeal Against Four-match Ban In Holland

Elvis Manu has had his four-match ban halved by the KNVB, the Dutch football governing body

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu has had his four match ban reduced ban in the Dutch Eerste Divisie halved after appealing against the ban.

The 19-year-old was slapped with a four match suspension by the KNVB after walking on FC Eindhoven goalkeeper Brahim Zaari during a Dutch second-tier league game at the Jan Louwers Stadion.

Excelsior officially appearled against the ban last weekend and the KNVB – Dutch football governing body reduced the punishment to two games.

Manu is on loan at Excelsior from giants Feyenoord till the end of the season.
