Don Jazzy fetes Twitter fans with phone recharge cards

Multi-award winning Nigerian singer, writer and record producer, Michael Collins, better known as Don Jazzy, Saturday, feted his followers and fans on social network platform, Twitter.

His source of joy? – the Abia state born Don Jazzy considered having over 500,000 followers on his Twitter handle a milestone, and thus decided to give free telephone recharge cards. He wrote on his TL: “Oh and I am also celebrating reaching 500k followers. Thanks again.”
In another tweet, he said, “Ok its been a while. Let’s share some credits so some of us can call our loved ones for Vals [sic]. Love always.”
In all, he shared six Airtel, four Glo, four MTN and two Etisalat recharge cards, after which he expressed gratitude to his followers, who “found my tweets interesting enough to follow”.
This was not the first time Don Jazzy had done so. The talented producer, aside his musical works, appeared to have courted the new media as a way of keeping his visibility in the Nigerian money-spinning music industry and increasing his fans base.
He has 500,233 followers on his twitter handle, 42,043 tweets and following 5,1058 users. His continued relevance since separating from once-upon-a-time buddy and internationally-award winning artiste, D banj, has paid off in brand endorsements. Presently, he is a Samsung HTS and Loyamilk ambassador.
