Accra, Feb. 20, GNA – Members of the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators have congratulated President John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the 2012 general election and his subsequent coronation as President of the Republic.
‘The President, the Executive Committee, and the entire membership of the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators wish to congratulate you on your momentous election as the fourth President of the Fourth Republic.’
This was contained in a statement signed by Mr George Blankson, President of the Association and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday.
The Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators covers 49 member countries that have the common objective of achieving their development goals through tax and unity.
Mr Blankson expressed the confidence that under President Mahama, Ghana would continue to be ‘economically prosperous and politically stable.’
