Gov’t will operationalize core values of Ghanaians – Mahama

President John Mahama has categorically stated that his overall objective is to run an administration that will operationalize the core values of the people of the Ghana.

It was demanded of the President quite recently to state his stance on the issue of homosexuality which he did through the Minister for Information Mahama Ayariga.

Addressing the members of the Diplomatic Corps at the Peduase Lodge on Friday, the President congratulated Ghanaians for electing an effective Government.

“We congratulate all political parties that participated, our revered traditional rulers, our religious leaders, the National Peace Council and other civil society groups for demonstrating before, during and after the elections a rare and unbending commitment to the National interest and the peace and unity of this country.”

He reiterated that he will lead a team of people who are intelligent, effective and people who will uphold the values of the country.

According to President Mahama, his main aim is to run and administration “that is intelligent, effective and that exudes excellence and confidence in operationalizing the core values of the people of Ghana.”

He gave the assurance that his government will deliver on its promises made to Ghanaians during the campaigning and electioneering period to make “Ghana greater and stronger.”
