Woyome case adjourned after prosecution fails to produce witnesses

Alfred Woyome is standing trial for fraud

The case in which the state is accusing businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome of defrauding it of Ghc 51 million has once again been adjourned.

Joy News correspondenat Anny Osabutey reports that the adjournment became necessary after the prosecution failed to call witnesses for hearing today.

Prosecutors pleaded with the High Court hearing the case give them two weeks to assemble their witnesses.
