Unknown Gunmen Kill Power Ministry Director

The Director for Finance and Accounts in the Ministry of Power, Kola Adedeji, was allegedly assassinated on Saturday night by unknown gunmen.

Details about the directors assassination was sketchy as at press time, as there were conflicting accounts of the circumstance leading to his death.

While one account has it that the Director was trailed from the Ibadan airport to his home and that none of his personal effects were stolen, another has it that he was trailed from a party he attended Saturday night in Ibadan and killed.

The ministry of power was yet to release an official statement as at press time regarding the tragic end of its former director finance and accounts.

But LEADERSHIP gathered last night from sources within the ministry that an official delegation has been sent from the ministry to Ibadan to properly ascertain the true circumstance that led to his death.
