Security has been tightened at the premises of the Supreme Court ahead of today’s ruling on a joinder motion brought by the governing National Democratic Congress seeking to join the election petition filed by the NPP.

The Supreme Court Presided over by Mr. Justice William Atuguba is set to rule on whether or not they will allow the NDC to join a petition challenging the declaration of President John Dramani Mahama as winner of the election.

Myjoyonline.com’s David Andoh reported that lawyers are finding it difficult to go through the strict and cumbersome security procedures.

The police have said they are leaving nothing to chance as far as the security of the process is concerned.

Details soon.
