Self Employment Awaits Over Six Million Youth
The Chief Executive Officer of Think Twice group, namely; Think Twice Foundation Ghana,(NGO), Think Twice Africa Consult (Consultancy, family and Talent Management), Nestmeh Think Twice Trading and Services, Mr. Ernest Birmeh, is urging the youth to exercise patience especially those who are unemployed, since his outfit is about to roll out a massive job creation venture in Ghana.
The project, according to him, is expected to cover over six million unemployed youth.
He said job seekers do not need be masters, degree, HND or other certificates holders before being employed, all they need is a computer and little knowledge of how to use the computer to keep data.
“It is all about family and talent management. We pick you; train you to become an area consultant. There is pressure in the system; the pressure to give birth based on some good reasons society upholds which to some extent has not helped in quality production of children all over the country.
…Many children rather go through extreme pains to survive and these same children are distributed to occupy various positions in our society. What affect these children negatively affects the entire society negatively, worst of all is that, many of their talents are not identified and managed for the benefit of society. Most of their talents are misplaced or killed hence a factor to many of our problems. There is therefore the need to educate the masses on the negative implications of the pressure to ensure quality production of children and unearth the potentials in them.” He said
He said everything is in place; very soon awareness creation will be carried out in about seven of the regions to sensitize the masses before the job creation begins. Over four-hundred banners with inscription (PRESSURE, CHILDREN, TALENT? ACTION TIME, NOW) for the campaign program have already been produced. Those interested in sponsorship are welcomed. Government and UNICEF need get ready, to assist in this direction as well as other media houses to ensure a better Ghana.
