Second batch of ministerial nominees being vetted




The second batch of ministerial nominees by the president is currently appearing before the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament today.

They include Nana Oye Lithur, Minister-designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Akwasi Oppong-Fosu, Minister-designate for Local Government and Rural Development, Dr Omane Boamah, Communication, Minister-designate for Communications, Prof Jane Nana Opoku Agyemang, Minister- designate for Education and Dr Oteng Agyei , Minister-designate for Environment, Science Technology and Innovation.

The House on Tuesday approved the president’s the first seven ministerial nominees who were vetted by the one-party Appointments Committee last week.
