Rafael Benitez claims Roman Abramovich is happy with him

Crunchsports :    Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has claimed owner Roman Abramovich is happy with the progress being made under him.

Benitez, whose appointment as Blues boss has not been a popular one with the club’s supporters, said he held positive talks with the Russian following Sunday’s 2-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

“We have people that talk with him and I have the information,” the Spaniard said.

“The other day I had time with him and he was really pleased. He was really pleased with the game.

“He has ideas. I have ideas. We share ideas. We explained to each other what we’re trying to do. It’s fine.”
